Artikel 53
Verdrag van Ljubljana-Den Haag inzake internationale samenwerking bij de opsporing en vervolging van genocide, misdrijven tegen de menselijkheid, oorlogsmisdrijven en andere internationale misdrijven
Except as provided for in article 52, paragraph 1, subparagraph (b), the requesting State Party shall not, without the consent of the requested State Party, surrender to another State Party or to a third State a person extradited to the requesting State Party and sought by that other State Party or third State in respect of crimes committed before the extradition of that person. The requested State Party may request the production of the documents referred to in article 56, paragraph 2.
