Artikel 36

Overeenkomst tussen het Koninkrijk België, het Koninkrijk Denemarken, de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland, Ierland, de Italiaanse Republiek, het Groothertogdom Luxemburg, het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden, de Europese Gemeenschap voor Atoomenergie en de Internationale Organisatie voor Atoomenergie ter uitvoering van artikel III, eerste en vierde lid, van het Verdrag inzake de niet-verspreiding van kernwapens

At the request of the Community, the Agency shall exempt nuclear material from safeguards under this Agreement, as follows:
(a) Special fissionable material, when it is used in gram quantities or less as a sensing component in instruments;
(b) Nuclear material, when it is used in non-nuclear activities in accordance with Article 13, if such nuclear material is recoverable; and
(c) Plutonium with an isotopic concentration of plutonium-238 exceeding 80%.
