Europese Code inzake Sociale Zekerheid (herzien)
1. In the event of a benefit being withheld, suspended or withdrawn, or in the event of disputes as to its nature and amount, any claimant shall have the right to appeal to the competent jurisdiction. This appeal shall in princinple be free of charge, subject to the conditions prescribed unless the person concerned has prior right of appeal free of charge to a competent authority.
2. Prescribed procedures shall enable the claimant to be represented or assisted by a qualified person of his choice or by a delegate of an organisation representing the persons protected.
