Protocol nopens de verkeerstekens

Where atmospheric conditions do not permit the use of the full sign, a hollow red triangle may be used to indicate the different dangers referred to in articles 12 to 25. A rectangular plate shall always be placed below the triangle on which the appropriate symbol or inscription or both of them shall be given to indicate the danger.
