Protocol nopens de verkeerstekens
1. The sign ”Dangerous bend” of ”Dangerous bends” (I, 2) shall be used only as the approach sign for a bend or bends, which are dangerous owing to their physical characteristics or to reduced visibility.
2. Each Contracting Party may elect to substitute for the above sign, signs giving a clearer indication of the bend or bends. Such substitution shall apply throughout the territory of the Contracting Party concerned. These alternative signs are:
I, 3 — right bend
I, 4 — left bend
I, 5 — double bend, the first to the right
I, 6 — double bend, the first to the left.
