Artikel 48

1. Where goods, materials, services or accommodation have been requisitioned by the authorities of the Power concerned or procured on occupation costs or mandatory expenditures budgets before the date of entry into force of the present Convention and continue thereafter to be required by the Forces, they shall be deemed to be requisitioned with binding legal effect for a period of one year from that date under the provisions of the applicable legislation referred to in paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 37 of the present Convention.
2. Where the goods, materials, services or accommodation are required for the purposes of the Forces and their members beyond the period fixed in paragraph 1 of this Article, the Federal Republic shall guarantee their continued availability in accordance with the procedure of the applicable Federal legislation.
