Artikel 68
Protocol bij het Verdrag van 1979 betreffende grensoverschrijdende luchtverontreiniging over lange afstand, inzake de beheersing van emissies van vluchtige organische stoffen of hun grensoverschrijdende stromen
VOC emissions are reduced by:
a) Controlled disposal of straw as opposed to the common practice of open field burning;
b) Minimal use of pesticides with high organic solvent contents, and/or the use of emulsions and waterbased formulations;
c) Composting of waste, combining manure with straw, etc;
d) Abatement of exhaust gases from animal houses, manure drying plant, etc., by use of biofilters, adsorption, etc.
