Artikel 3
Verdrag tussen het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten inzake wederzijdse rechtshulp in strafzaken
1. This Agreement shall not apply to:
a. the arrest or detention of any person with a view to the extradition of that person;
b. the enforcement in the Requested Party of criminal judgments imposed in the Requesting Party except to the extent permitted by the national law of the Requested Party;
c. the transfer of persons in custody to serve sentences; and
d. the transfer of proceedings in criminal matters.
2. Nothing in this Agreement entitles any Party to undertake in the territory of the other Party the exercise of jurisdiction or the performance of functions that are reserved exclusively for the authorities of that other Party by its national law.
