Artikel 3

In order to achieve this aim the Institute:
a) shall regularly issue publications on subjects related to the scientific studies referred to in Article 2;
b) shall administer a library for the study of these scientific topics;
c) shall offer hospitality and where possible provide assistance to Netherlands citizens who are staying in the Arab Republic of Egypt for the purposes of study or research, or both, and may similarly offer hospitality and where possible provide assistance to persons other than those of Netherlands nationality who are staying in the Arab Republic of Egypt for the purposes of conducting scientific research on behalf of or in cooperation with Netherlands institutes for scientific research;
d) shall cooperate with Netherlands archaeological expeditions, the Institute's building acting as base;
e) shall in general make its facilities available for the purposes of disseminating information on Netherlands science and culture.
