Artikel V

The Contracting Parties agree to establish a Joint Committee on economic and technical cooperation composed of representatives of the two countries.
The Chairmen of the Joint Committee shall be for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Netherlands Minister of Economic Affairs and for the Arab Republic of Egypt, The Egyptian Minister for Economy and Economic Co-operation, if the agenda of the meeting so requires and the two Parties so agree, or their Nominees.
The permanent members would be the representatives from appropriate Government Departments. Experts and advisors from both private and public sectors may be called upon at the request of either side, to attend the committee meeting.
The joint committee shall:
i) discuss any matter pertaining to the implementation of the present Agreement,
ii) explore the fields in which they consider the cooperation between the two countries might be broadened,
iii) make recommendations in cases the implementation of the Agreement might be furthered.
The Joint Committee shall meet at least once a year alternately in Cairo and in The Hague.
