De organisaties die gemachtigd worden werkzaamheden ten behoeve van de Scheepvaartinspectie te verrichten zijn:

b. Bureau Veritas te Parijs, Frankrijk;
c. Det Norske Veritas te Oslo, Noorwegen;
d. Germanischer Lloyd te Hamburg, Duitsland;
e. Lloyd’s Register of Shipping te Londen, Verenigd koninkrijk;
f. Nippon Kaiji Kyokai te Tokio, Japan; en
g. Registro Italiano Navale te Genua, Italië.
